Introduction

Today, the internet serves as the largest source of free information for all users, and especially for users with disabilities. Tech2Peace places great importance on providing equal access to all users, including:

  1. The ability to use the content presented on the website

  2. A better browsing experience for every user, regardless of ability

“Tech2Peace” will do everything possible to ensure that the digital services it offers are accessible to the general public and especially to people with disabilities. Resources have been invested to make the site more usable for people with disabilities, based on the belief that everyone deserves the right to live in equality, dignity, comfort, and independence.

To fulfill this promise, Pitch Events strives to adhere as closely as possible to the recommendations of the Israeli standard (IS 5568) for web content accessibility at level AA, and to the international WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

Accessibility Actions Taken on the Website:

  • Site navigation and orientation tools are simple and user-friendly.

  • Website content is written in clear and straightforward language and is well-organized using headers and lists.

  • A consistent and uniform structure across all site sections and pages.

  • The site is compatible with various browsers (such as Chrome, Mozilla).

  • The site is optimized for different screen resolutions.

  • Graphic objects have textual alternatives (alt attributes).

  • The site allows font resizing using the CTRL key and mouse scroll.

  • Links on the site are clear and include an explanation of their destination.

  • There is an option to change the background color using a button on the site.

How the Accessibility Features Work

An accessibility menu is placed on the site. Clicking the menu opens accessibility features. After selecting an option from the menu, please wait for the page to reload.
The software operates on popular browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. Responsibility for implementation and usage of the accessibility features lies with the website owner and/or their representatives, subject to the software’s limitations and terms of use.

Accessibility Menu Options

  • Fonts – Increase / Decrease size

  • Flashing elements – Stop animations and blinking

  • Contrast adjustment – Change to high contrast with dark background

  • Contrast adjustment – Change to high contrast with light background

  • Change to more readable font

  • Highlight links on the site

  • Highlight headings on the site

Accessibility Limitations

Despite our efforts to make all pages on the website accessible, some content may still not be fully accessible.
We continue our efforts to improve the accessibility of the website as part of our commitment to provide access to all users, including those with disabilities.

On-Site Accessibility Arrangements

The venue has accessible restrooms, nearby disabled parking, and an accessible entrance from the street.
